GONDAL ROAD, presently Sadhana bhel and Bombay hotel building. The picture was taken when our first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru visited Rajkot in 1958. Picture shows the preparitaion made by Rajkot Industries Organisation, the mother organisation of present day Rajkot Engineering Association. Founder members of the RIO were Ravibhai Vankani (National Wire Products), Padmakarbhai Masurekar (Accumax), Jerambhai Aghara (Rivex), Navinbhai Kamdar (Universal Engineering) and others.
